This isn't a Non-Practising Diabetes Clinical Practitioner of nearly 35 years telling you how to look after yourself and your Type 2 diabetes.

It's not a patient-structured education tool based on the idea that one size fits all.

It's an opportunity to talk to you — the person living with diabetes — to recognise that you have already been doing a great job, while helping you with the areas you may not feel 100% sure about.

Never forget: you are the REAL expert in your life and in taking care of your diabetes.

You will always need the support of your Diabetes Health Team. What I offer is another way of learning — helping you understand the conversations, information and questions that matter to you.
